About Roy Anderson
Roy L. Anderson is a partner in the law firm of Wagner, Anderson & Bright, P.C., located in Riverside, California. I specialize in patent and trademark law and I am a registered patent attorney.
I have prepared and filed patent applications for clients in a wide variety of technical fields, including physics, business methods, telecommunications, Internet-related inventions (e.g. computer-software, e-commerce, ad-targeting, social profiling, and networking), cryptography, electronics, lighting and LEDs, chemical engineering, medical devices and mechanical devices. I have been General Counsel of Mag Instrument, Inc. (manufacturer of MagLite® flashlights) since November of 2014. I am responsible for bringing prosecution of worldwide patent and trademark matters in-house and I am responsible for all such matters. I report directly to the President and owner of the company on all legal matters, domestic and foreign, and I am able to perform such duties on a part-time basis, leaving time for outside matters. Mag Instrument sells its products worldwide in over eighty countries.
I practiced for 18 years with the law firm of Lyon & Lyon, having become a partner in 1989. While at Lyon & Lyon, I specialized in litigation of patent and trademark matters, and in helping my clients to develop and protect their patent portfolios.
